F. Help your child fly with chiropractic.
Here a boy flies. Arms outstretched, his mind’s eye racing,
diving, swooping, like Superman, or, more likely, Pokemon. Balance
is deft here. What adventure! He is away - sportsman, pioneer, hero
– daring. Yet he is here – son, brother, nephew –
adored. And he is strong. And he is free. Perhaps it is easier for
a child to dream these dreams. Perhaps they are strong and free
without wings. Just in their “mind’s eye”. Dream
of flying as a child? Put the arms out, brace yourself. Like this.
Come on. You can do it. Let’s go. Does anyone still think
chiropractic is only for back pain? Here, tell them it’s much
bigger. Come on. You can do it.
Artist’s note:
He was flying that moment. This image required some instructions.
I asked him to hold still. While there is structure here, I don’t
believe it has taken away from the spirit of the occasion, and therefore
the image. The component I am most excited about here is the subtle
light play upon the right torse margins – this is afforded
by the diffused sunlight emanating from his front-right. The wisp
of light frames his body, layering it nicely upon the soft backdrop
of the yard. This was one of those little gems – you hope
some detail shows up in the final image, and ‘bang’
there it is. It was a latter decision to offer the limited edition
larger size images. This photo is the reason we did it. It looks
breathtaking in the larger format. PC
